Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant in Alaska

"Been in Anchorage, the majority of my life. I know this restaurant‘s been around for a while, but had never been. Some friends invited me out for a Taco Tuesday and Los Arcos they didn’t disappoint. At the time of this writing three dollar tacos, as many as you can stuff in your face! They’re good, hearty taco. Not fancy, but filling. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was very quick coming out, so it was hot! My only critique, would be, if possible to have a Arctic entry in the future. We were at a table right next to the door and with it being January, needless to say, it was a little chilly, and there was quite the draft. Perhaps beyond their control, but a girl can wish!"

"This gem was chosen for a weekly cheat meal/date night. DIDNT disappoint! Service was exemplary, food was very good, and the price point in this economy was unbelievable. (4) adults, everyone ordered a meal and we got two aps. Our check was $135!!!!! I’ve spent more than that with just me and wifey. We will be returning."

"Same two friends(in previous reviews) and I ate out. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated. Music is appropriate for atmosphere. Seated and helped right away. Friends ordered two number 4 dinners. I ordered beans and rice with sides of guacamole and sour cream. Perfect! Another 5/5/5"

"Service was great. Our server was amazing and patient( I'm very indecisive with odd requests and havnt been out in a long time.) Seated immediately. Very comfortable atmosphere. Food was as great as our service. Ordered a tropical falls and it was delicious"

"Los Arcos is a great Mexican restaurant. We stopped in while visiting Alaska from Fl. Anchorage sure has ran down but Los Arcos is still great. We meet some really dear friend s there for drinks and food. We were definitely pleasantly pleased with everything. The drinks were great even the house mag had a good amount of tequila in it. The food was fantastic tasting. After eating we played a game called Cover your Assets, if you haven’t played this game you need to. This is a thing we do with these friends of ours each time we visit. I asked the manager and he was cool with it, they had several tables available so no problem he said. The main point is enjoy your friends and have great food and drinks. Till next year."

"The chicken chimichanga was good, but I totally felt like I was being ignored by the waitstaff. I didn’t feel like I had a dedicated server either who would check up on me and make sure everything was good. Instead, a different person comes to your table each time. It was a strange experience because the food was good. I just wish it did t take me an hour and a half to eat and leave as a solo diner."
